Chipotle Tofu Sliders for Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 15 ml/gram Soy Sauce
  • 198 gram Tofu extra firm
  • 10 gram Mustard
  • 5 gram Chipotle in adobo 5 ml
  • 0.5 tsp Oregano, dried
  • 0.5 Paprika ground

Method
 

  1. Press the tofu
  2. Slice tofu into thin slices, either lengthwise or crosswise.
  3. Mix all ingredients except tofu into a small bowl. Cover tofu slices with the mixture and place in the fridge to marinate for 30 minutes.
Oven
  1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Bake tofu slices in the oven on a parchment covered cookie sheet for 20-30 minutes, flipping once.
Pan-fried
  1. Heat up a skillet over medium-high and coat with non-stick spray. Cook tofu slices for 5 minutes on each side.
  2. Serve on a sandwich bread topped with your favorite toppings. Such as lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, avocado, onions, sprouts, a Greek yogurt sauce such as Thousand Island or Chipotle Sauce.
