Broccoli Puree

Broccoli puree is so simple, yet sophisticated. It puree goes well with white fish, salmon, pork, and chicken.

Ingredients
  

  • 220 gram Broccoli

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot with water to boil. Add a dash of salt.
  2. Chop broccoli into smaller pieces, use the leaves and stems.
  3. Add broccoli to the boiling water. Let boil rapidly under a lid for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Strain the water, but keep a small amount in case you want to make the puree thinner. 
  5. Mash the broccoli to a puree consistency with a blender that tolerates heat,  an immersion blender, or by hand with a potato masher. Add salt and pepper to taste. 
  6. Serve with Tabasco and lime juice.
